The CIA's terrible mistake

In 1953, U.S. Army biochemist Frank Olson crashed through a hotel window and fell over 150 feet to the sidewalk below where he died. The police, U.S. Army, and CIA, for whom he secretly worked, reported Olson’s death as a suicide. As the years went by, questions emerged about Olson's life and death. Most notably: why did the CIA give Olson a dose of LSD days before he died? Today, following years of investigation, the shocking truth about Olson’s work and murder is revealed by H.P. Albarelli Jr. in his new book, "A TERRIBLE MISTAKE: The Murder of Frank Olson and the CIA’s Secret Cold War Experiments."
